A downloadable website

This is a virtual tabletop for the tabletop roleplaying game Ten Candles. Check it out at https://tencandles-vtt.vercel.app/!

All the following info is taught in the app so no need to read this if you want to get started right away. But if you'd like to read a quick overview before jumping in, here are things you can do in the app:

  • Create a room as the GM and share the generated URL to your players so they can join that room
  • Click on the candles to light or extinguish them
  • Roll dice by clicking the "Roll" button
  • Drag dice (including the blue Hope die) between the player dice pool, GM dice pool, and dice stash
  • Create cards for Vices, Virtues, etc. and pass them to other players
  • See the above actions happening between all the players in real time
  • Change the font from a pixel font to a more accessible font (see screenshot #2)

Please note that it won't work very well on mobile or small screens, but you can try zooming out or using the "Desktop site" setting in a mobile browser.

Thanks! You comment helped push me to start working on it again after a break. I'm almost finished building out all the features so stay tuned!

I’m glad to read that! If you need any suggestions or want to comment anything, just let me know! We can discuss vis Discord or whatever you want!

Thanks, the final version is out now so let me know if you find any bugs or have suggestions! (although i can't promise i'll make substantial changes to the app anytime soon)

This is so cool! I've been trying to find a way to play Ten Candle online, so this is perfect for that.

Thanks Ennio! I think it'll really shine when you're able to create a stack of your character traits, etc. and burn them. That'll be a December task though since I'm spending November writing a new game!
